Important Retreat Arrival Details:

Please plan to arrive in Bali on Monday, August 3rd.  The Relax & Rejuvenate Retreat will officially start with an opening ceremony/event on Tuesday, August 4th. 

Villa check-in time is 2 pm on August 3rd, and check-out is 11 am on August 9th.  PLEASE NOTE: If you plan to arrive earlier than August 3rd or check out after August 9th, please contact the retreat host to confirm the additional cost. 

Airport Transfers:

Once you arrive at the airport in Bali, a private driver will be waiting for you to transport you to the retreat site. 

The time will be confirmed once flight details have been confirmed.

CUSTOMS
Upon arrival, follow the signs to customs. Make sure to have your passport and any required documents readily accessible. The process is generally efficient, but it's always helpful to have the necessary paperwork in order.

BAGGAGE CLAIM

After clearing customs, proceed to the baggage claim area to collect your luggage. There will be porters all around to assist you for a tip/fee. The porters will begin to approach you sometimes before you reach the baggage claim. You can choose any of them for baggage support.

PRIVATE CAR SERVICE

Follow the signs for Ground Transportation: Look for our dedicated drivers holding a sign with either your name or the Desa Swan name in the arrivals area. You'll be escorted to your private ground transportation for a comfortable journey to your retreat location. 

Visa

You will need to obtain a travel  Visa for visitors to Bali, Indonesia. The current cost is $35.

The 30-day B1 Tourist Visa, also known as Visa on Arrival (VOA), can be applied for online 14 days before travel.

Documents needed to prepare a Visitor Visa request are:

Full page of passport with at least 6 months validity from the date of your arrival to Indonesia (format JPG/JPEG/PNG with max. size of 200 kb);

Passport size photograph (format JPG/JPEG/PNG with max. size of 200 kb);

• Email address
• A valid Mastercard, Visa, or JCB credit card
• Residence information in Bali / Indonesia (hotel, etc). We are staying at Desa Swan Villas & SPA, Pantai Keramas St Jl. Selukat, Keramas, Blahbatuh, Gianyar Regency, Bali 80581, Indonesia
• Return or outbound Ticket

You can apply for a Visitor Visa 14 days before your travel. However, you are advised to submit a Visitor Visa request at least 48 hours before your departure.

Bali Tourist Tax 

Effective February 14, 2024, Foreign nationals visiting the province of Bali are required to pay an international tourist levy of IDR 150,000.00 (approximately USD 10.00). The payment can be made online before arrival or at the payment counter available at the Airport and Port in Bali. Travelers will get proof of payment in the form of a Levy voucher with a QR Code that is sent via email.  You can pay the tax online here:

Health Pass (SSHP) 

The Health Pass must be completed online. https://sshp.kemkes.go.id./. Once the form is completed, you will receive a QR code. 

Customs Declaration Form

Travelers must complete an Electronic Customs Declaration before departure to Indonesia and present the completed form with the QR code to the Customs Officer.

• The form can be filled out 72 hours before your arrival. Not earlier. 
• After filling out the online form, you will receive a QR code that officers will scan after you have collected your luggage, just before you exit the airport building.

A: Casual and comfortable clothing, swimwear, yoga attire, sunscreen, and a reusable water bottle are essentials. Check the weather forecast closer to your departure for any additional items. Lounge wear, great walking shoes, pool gear. Clothing that is breathable fabric will serve you best. There are special occasion experiences that are color specific. Please bring/wear based on request.

Q: Is Wi-Fi available at the retreat location?
A: Yes, Wi-Fi is available throughout the estate, but we encourage you to take this opportunity to disconnect and fully immerse yourself in the experience. Lower level suites may occasionally experience slower than normal speeds. We encourage you to purchase VPN coverage if you have secure computing needs. We can provide recommendations of service options if needed.

 A. You will be in tropical weather. It can be very warm during the day and chilly (tropical chilly isn't extreme cold) at night. Expect more warm days and be prepared for some perspiration.
